Ukrainian Village

We had a wonderful time yesterday at the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village. We had an artist named Larisa (Website www.artbylarisa.com ) teach us how to do water colour paintings. It was a lovely day and the grade threes produced some fabulous art work. It is just a beginning but what a great start! We are going to email her today and thank her for sparking an interest in watercolour painting in us.

After working with her we have also decided to plan a comic book for this week's writing prompt (it might take 2 weeks). I'll post more on this later.
